Kondapalli is a village around the outskirts of Vijaywada, Andhra Pradesh. This village is famous for wood crafts which are famous all around the world. These are handcrafted artworks that are prepared with a variety of wood, called “Tella Poniki,” which is available only in the hilly forests of Kondapalli. The raw material is collected, processed, crafted and painted with the utmost care by the local artisans.
