Sheesham, commonly known as Golden Rosewood is a fine-grained Indian Wood. This wood is brown (relatively lighter in color as compared to Rosewood) in color and has a nice dense pattern of grains. It is relatively easier to carve and leaves a good finish which makes it one of the most popular wood for hand-carved chess sets.
We make sure that all our timber is sourced from Reputed suppliers who procure only government-authorized timber.
