Udupi Sri Krishna Matha temple is dedicated to god Krishna located in the city of Udupi in Karnataka . Udupi is first among the seven places of pilgrimages. Thousands of pious devotees throng the Krishna temple all round the year to catch a glimpse of Lord Krishna. Krishna is the eighth incarnation or avatar of Lord Vishnu. Krishna is famous for playing the flute. His flute playing would beguile the cow herder's daughters who were all in love with Krishna.
