Asta chamma is an ancient Indian board game. Other Indian names for this game are Chauka Bara, Taayam, Gatta Mane.
A game of chance, Ashta Chemma is the classic get-together activity that suprasses all age groups and generations.
HOW TO PLAY: This is a two-four player strategy game. The purpose is to take your counters from the starting point to the safety of home.
INCLUDES: One handmade cotton fabric game board, four sets of wooden lacware pawns (each set contains 4x4: 16 coins ) which are coloured red, orange, yellow and green and four cowrie shells for playing and an instruction manual. DIMENSIONS: Cotton Mat - 34" x 34" Cm; Pawns : Dia ~ 1cm, Height ~ 2 cm.
